Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Law Offices of Aaron J. Stewart is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard; these limited exceptions are due to built-in limitations of the Squarespace Content Management System.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of The Law Offices of Aaron J. Stewart , there are some limitations resulting from the Squarespace CMS and third-party embedded code. Below is a description of known limitations as reported by the Google Lighthouse accessibility tool. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

  1. Skip to Content link: “Some elements have a tabindex value greater than 0”. Though flagged by Google Lighthouse, it does not appear that this issue is negatively impacting browsing—tabbed navigation does appear to function properly. Squarespace has been made aware of this issue. If you experience difficulty with tabbed browsing, please contact us with details.

  2. Images with Links: “Links do not have a discernible name”. This is found on certain images with links. We have confirmed that the images in question include alternative text, which meets WCAG criteria. This appears to be an issue with how Squarespace structures image links.

  3. Wufoo Form Embed: “iframe elements do not have a title”. Wufoo (our contact form manager) does not include a title in the iframe code generated by their script. Wufoo has been made aware of this issue.
